The organization of the “Raahiyan Pishraft” (Path of Progress) camp for students of the Lar Higher Education Complex in Bushehr Province
In order to showcase the reality of the country and provide tangible proof of the capabilities of Iranian youth, who, despite the most extensive sanctions, have been able to compete with the world’s best in various fields, 40 male students from the Lar Higher Education Complex participated in a three-day camp in Bushehr Province as part of the “Raahiyan Pishraft” student camp.
In this program, which was attended by Dr. Forouzesh, the advisor of the association and a faculty member of the Chemical Engineering Department, and Engineer Kargozarfard, a professor at the complex, the students first visited the Maritime Museum at the site of the former British Consulate in Bushehr. There, they became familiar with the naval equipment from the time of the Iran-Iraq War and learned about Iran’s historical development process. Following that, they visited an exhibition introducing the Atomic Energy Organization, where they were educated on the use of nuclear energy in electricity generation and its impact on the country’s industry. Later, the students visited the Shahid Mohallati Shipyard in Bushehr, where they learned about the process of shipbuilding and the construction of marine vessels, and they were also given the opportunity to board the deck of the Shahid Hassan Baqeri warship.
The second day of the program took place in Asaluyeh County. Initially, the students visited the Damavand Petrochemical Complex. The program concluded with a visit to Zone 4 of Asaluyeh, where they toured the Shahid Soleimani warship of the IRGC, which was warmly welcomed by the students. It is worth mentioning that this program was organized through the efforts of the Lar Students’ Basij office, guided and planned by the “Raahiyan Pishraft” management of the Basij Student Organization of Fars Province, with support from the Lar Higher Education Complex and Dr. Norouzi, the Dean of the Engineering Faculty.
