Sending Students of Lar Higher Education Complex on a Pilgrimage to the Holy Shrines of Iraq
With the efforts of the Hosseini (PBUH) Lovers’ Association and the Cultural Unit of Lar Higher Education Complex, a 40-member caravan consisting of students, faculty members, and staff was sent on a spiritual pilgrimage to the holy shrines of Iraq.
The aim of this program was to bring university members closer to the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUH), guide them towards the right path, and promote a positive shift in the mindset of university students, especially the younger generation. Initially, Dr. Afroozeh, the rector of the complex, wished the pilgrims a fruitful spiritual journey, hoping it would help them in self-purification and elevate their understanding of the role and position of Imam Hussein (PBUH).
Following the collective salutations to Aba Abdullah al-Hussein (PBUH) and a chanting ceremony by Karbalaei Hamid Ejraei, the pilgrims were presented with gift packages and shawls. They were then escorted under the Holy Quran for a ceremonial farewell.
It is worth noting that, to ensure the convenience of students, part of the expenses for sending the caravan (under the shadow of the throne), which will visit the religious sites in the cities of Karbala, Najaf, Samarra, and Kazimayn in Iraq, was covered by benefactors and through long-term loan payments.
